Hello December. Hello December Daily.
Lots of little stories around here today. Have not decided which story to document in the 4×6 book yet and will not have time to document today’s story tonight but I do want to share some photos …
Overall, it was a good day.
Went to the Good Street Food and Design Market for some holiday crafting and shopping.
Good music. Good company. Good design. Good stuff. Good fun.
Danita and Monique are visiting from Los Angeles. We stopped for lunch at Chando’s Tacos — reminds me of the days at Hollenbeck.
While my boy napped, I worked on our first advent calendar. I have a list of activities I’d like to do with him to celebrate this magical month so I will write them on 3×4 cards and stick them in the pockets. The pockets will slip nicely into the Project Life sheet protectors so I’m thinking I will stick them in there once done. Since I am doing both Project Life and December Daily, I’m thinking that the Project Life photos will document our advent calendar adventures.
Books I picked up for him last month at various thrift stores. They will be wrapped and opened during the 8 days of Hanukkah.
We love Duplos. These are a few pieces I collected in the past few months and will be part of our advent calendar adventures. I’ve been scouring Craigslist and Ebay for these goodies.
These two are funny. So glad to have them here visiting.
Meals are more fun with good friends.
Samuel loves them too. This is the third book he had Monique read to him. They kept coming — one right after the other.
Ended the evening with more books and a trip to Leatherby’s Family Creamery.
Samuel loves to show off his new found skills. “Picture. Picture.” — he managed to say it with the spoon in his mouth. That’s my boy.
Off to bed. Getting up early for the California International Marathon Relay. I have the first leg which starts at 7 am. It will be pouring and I will be drenched after 6 miles but it will be a blast.
