We’re here!
Just wanted to let y’all know that we made it here safely. The girls were getting a bit restless on the second leg of the trip, and waiting for the shuttle to the airport wasn’t fun, but we’re here now, and they are both happy. Both are really excited. We’re staying at [...]

Went to the Sacramento Antique Faire this morning and found lots of fun stuff! Found another typecase — this one with a really nice metal handle that’s got “Hamilton” engraved on it and a nice stain on the wood. I plan to use this to display all our [...]

Seattle, Day 05
I woke up early this morning to relish the last few hours of Seattle. With my camera in tow, I ran to the convention center to get another glimpse of Sakura-Con. This time, I entered the convention center, rode the escalator to the top floor and made my way through the gaming room undetected by [...]

Tulip Festival
The Rosengaard garden we visited yesterday supposedly has about 86 varieties of tulips plus 10 new varieties for 2009. Here’s a sampling of some varieties of the tulips I saw in bloom. If Mother Nature cooperates this week, perhaps some more will blossom.
