Spent the weekend at the Whole Earth Festival + Farmer’s Market in Davis + scrapping projects for Open House. I made about a dozen pages for my school scrapbook + finished a miniBook for one of my student’s family. I also have a display board to complete + a mini-book for the MESA [...]

Mom + Mimi came over this afternoon for a late mother’s day lunch.  Jim made a tasty roast with mash potatoes (per mom’s request).  We hung out for a little bit after lunch + had chocolate cake with whip cream.

When I came home from the half marathon, I found a package from Laura sitting on my door steps.

Totally lovin’ the book + everything else in the box!  Laura, you totally spoiled me this time!

I had race day jitters for most of the morning prior to the start of the race. I had my usual breakfast toast with melted cheese + a nonfat mocha. I was nervous about the caffeine consumption because I didn’t want to have to use the restroom too many times during the race. [...]
