Saturday.
I went to Beverly’s today + did some serious damage to my January budget. They’re having a winter clearance + I went crazy in their scrapbooking section. Got a bunch of American Crafts mini-marks rub-ons for such a good deal.
I spent some time working on Ali’s Weekend Creative challenge. Hope to post something up tomorrow.
My [...]

Took a series of photos of myself doing step aerobics and … um, you could say that the photos are interesting. J went through the photos and [...]

By the way, check out my yard! It is totally clear of rose bushes, lavender, succulents + a bunch of other stuff I didn’t recognize. My mom’s friend came sometime in November and [...]

Say it with Caffeine
Got these beautifully crafted caffeine molecule earrings from a friend for Christmas. I love them and have been wearing them all the time! She got them at Made With Molecules. Raven Hanna, the woman who is behind these beautiful creations, is a scientist turned artist in San Francisco. I love her [...]

Cookies
My teacher friends wanted their students to apply what they are learning in math, specifically fractions, to a real world situation. They came up with a few projects and decided on baking cookies. Working in teams of four, their students divided the original recipe in thirds, made the appropriate conversions to teaspoons and [...]

Self portrait + CKU video
I’m enjoying the photo-a-day project very much. I often carry a camera with me everywhere, but these days, the camera is with me everywhere I go. It is sort of annoying to my friends, but they are learning to deal with it. So far, I’m taking lots of self portraits – mainly [...]
